Senior WR Andre Holmes (left) had 9 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, and now holds the school’s career record for receiving yards, with 2,75. He broke the record of Ed House, which was set in 2001. Holmes also has 195 receptions for his career, which is tied with A.J. Kegg for the most receptions in a career in school history. He has 1,033 receiving yards this season, which is 106 shy of the single-season school record, held by Aaron Waldie and set in 2007.
Senior QB Troy Weatherhead has completed 78 percent of his passes on the season, and is on track to shatter the GLIAC single-season pass completion record, held by GVSU’s Harlon Hill winner Curt Anes.
