Once again I post what I consider one of the most useless pieces of annual information, the GLIAC Pre-Season coaches' poll.
Hillsdale was picked 6th this year among the 12 league teams. In a shocking turn of events, Grand Valley was picked 1st....again. They received all first place votes from the 11 other coaches while GV Coach Chuck Martin threw his vote to Ashland since he couldn't vote for his own squad.
The Chargers open camp on Thursday and are geared up for a run at everyone in the league, especially those teams voted ahead of them. In the coming days I will be breaking down how Hillsdale stacks up against the rest of the top 5.

Grand Valley (121), Ashland (107), Michigan Tech (94), Wayne State (89), Saginaw Valley State (85), Hillsdale (71), Ferris State (66), Indianapolis (51), Findlay (38), Northern Michigan (33), Northwood (24) and Tiffin (13).
