Grand Valley came to bury Hillsdale all wrapped in Charger Blue
The words were said, the prayers were read and everybody cried
But when they closed the coffin, it was someone else inside!

The Lakers came to bury the Chargers - But Hillsdale wasn't dead
And when the game was over, it was someone else instead.
The stern and courageous Chargers put on the gloves of gray,
And as the whole place went berzerk, they laid Chucky Martin Away!
