It is Rivalry Week in the GLIAC as Hillsdale travels to Wayne State

No more playing with patsies for the Chargers. For this team to "leave no doubt" and handle "unfinished business" Hillsdale will have to get a W on a field it hasn't since 1998. The last time Hillsdale won in Detroit was in 2004 but that game was played at Ford Field.

The fates have been unkind to the Chargers lately against the Warriors. Last year Joe Glendening was lost due to a concussion in a 27-24 overtime loss. The year before in Detroit saw Hillsdale fall 14-9 after a Troy Weatherhead redzone pass went for a pick six. In 2009 Hillsdale manhandled Wayne at home but fell 7-14 in 2008.

Hillsdale has hit on all cylinders since an opening week 8 point loss to Cal, PA. Wayne too fell in its opener by a touchdown but has three straight wins over Lake Erie, Malone, and Northwood.

Kickoff is at noon on Saturday. This one is going to be BIG and so is the rest of the GLIAC slate this week.

Tiffin at Findlay, noon
Saginaw Valley at Northwood, noon
Michigan Tech at Northern Michigan, 1:00
Ashland at Ohio Dominican, 1:00
Malone at Walsh, 6:00
Ferris State at Grand Valley, 7:00
Lake Erie at Notre Dame College, 7:00
