Several Chargers finish statistically in national Top 10

Here are the final NCAA Division II football statistic rankings for Hillsdale players. Top 10 performances for the Chargers include DE Drew Berube who ends the regular season with the highest individual rank at #3 for sacks. Kicker Mark Petro finishes tied for 5th in field goals. Vinnie Panizzi finishes 6th in the country for scoring and 10th for rushing yards per game. WR Mike Blanchard cracked the Top 10 at the 10th position for kickoff returns. One individual not on the list is Punter Eric Schweller. Hillsdale's highest team ranking nationally was 5th in punting, but the NCAA requires an individual punt 3.6 times per game on average to make this list. Schweller can blame the efficiency of the Charger offense for the omission.
