Musielewicz and Hutchison Take Xplosion to the Championship

Despite the departure of Charger stand-outs Keith Recker and Bill Skelton due to the responsibilities of high school head coaching jobs, Ex-Chargers Dan Musielewicz (pictured) and Josh Hutchison are enjoying a title run with the 2nd year Kalamazoo Xplosion. The Xplosion play for the Continental Indoor Football League title this coming Sunday afternoon at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo. Game time is set for 3 PM.

As an expansion franchise, The Xplosion reached the championship game last year as well but fell short.

In last week's playoff win versus Rock River, Musielewicz led all receivers with 7 receptions for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns. "Moose" has had Rock River's number this season with 89 yards on 7 catches and 2 tds in Week 2 of the season. In the Week 10 rematch with the Raptors he had 2 more touchdowns and 34 yards. On the season, Musielewicz has 10 touchdowns on the season, 30 catches, and 308 yards.

Hutchison, finished his Charger career this past fall and joined his older brother Randy who is the Xplosion's starting quarterback.
