Hillsdale Announces 2007 Recruiting Class

Blanchard and Riebold headline what is likely the most complete class of Otterbein era. 19 kids, 8 from Michigan, 4 from OH, 4 from IN, 1 from CA, 1 from WI, 1 from PA

Mike Blanchard WR 5-10 179 Hillsdale, Mich. (Hillsdale) AP Class B 1st Team at QB, Threw for 1752 and ran for 1563, 45 touchdowns, had team one play away from Ford Field

Nick Hixson DB 6-1 162 Remus, Mich. (Chippewa Hills) very quick, also started at QB, sprinter on track team, HM All-state BKB player

Adam Hutnick DB 5-10 169 Chesterton, Ind. (Chesterton) 2nd team All-state as junior, 1st team as a senior, led all of Indiana with 12 interceptions

Reid Meador TE 6-8 245 Whiteland, Ind. (Whiteland Community) very athletic big man, excellent bkb player as well

Jesse Norris LB 6-3 195 Lima, Ohio (Shawnee) set state record in 4x200m relay(1:29.46), 20’ long jumper, 14’ pole vaulter,

Ridge Riebold LB 6-0 200 Powell, Ohio (Olentangy Liberty)
